*Like other luxury jackets, the Icarus is prone to bleeding a little the first couple times worn.

In Ancient Greece, Icarus was the son of the master craftsman, Daedalus. After both were imprisoned, Daedalus created wings out of wax and feathers to escape. Before their flight, Daedalus warned Icarus not to fly too high, because the sun would melt his wings, nor too low, for the sea's dampness would wet his feathers. Daedalus and Icarus took flight. They were focused and maintained their course. That was until Icarus' pride overtook him. All it took was a split second. He decided to outdo his father and flew too close to the sun. His wings now melting, Icarus plunged to his death. The Icarian Sea and the island of Icaria were named after Icarus to serve as a reminder of his demise.

Imbued with Icarus' essence, let this jacket be a reminder that sometimes, the only way to be free from your prison, is to get out of your comfort zone and to take a risk. When you do, don't get too high when things are going well and too low when they are going bad. Stay humble and stay confident. Good things will happen.

All Threads of Apollo jackets are meant to a slim fit and cut. Not all jackets are sized the same. Please look at the size chart carefully when you chose your size. If unsure, we recommend sizing up.

Our jackets are hand stitched. Due to this, please note the following:
    • 97% of the time, the sizes will be correct. Humans aren't perfect though so please allow for a 1.5 cm - 2 cm (0.5 inch - 1 inch) error tolerance.
